Slower traffic keep right, please!
"All the honey a bee gathers during its lifetime doesn't sweeten its sting."
Do me a favor, slower traffic keeps right! It's really simple if you're not going to keep with the flow of traffic get over or stay off the freeway. You're "clogging" up traffic. In case you haven't noticed, in heavy traffic if there is a big gap between you and the cars in front of you, that means you are not keeping up with the flow of traffic, get your @@@ over so the rest of us can get home or to work. Remember this the next time you're in traffic. And what about those drivers who refuse to let you merge into their lane? They would rather come close to having an accident before allowing you to merge. Shame on you! You should be considerate and allow the merge. Please follow the Golden Rule, "Do unto others as you would have them to unto you?" Of course, you must be safe, but face it; we can do without "cloggers" on the freeway. Oh and what about the car pool "cloggers"? They leave the regular traffic lanes, get in the car-pool lane, and slow traffic in that lane. People consider others, if you're not going to keep with the flow of traffic - meaning if other cars are going a certain speed, then you go that speed without going over the speed limit. It's the law, especially in California! For goodness sake!
I ran across this site as I was fact finding on California law, this guy is on traffic point! Read and then visit the site - very interesting!
Have you ever been driving on an interstate highway when traffic suddenly slows to a crawl? You inch along for many minutes while waiting to see the accident which must have caused the jam. At the same time, you also curse the "rubberneckers" who are causing the whole problem. But, then all the cars ahead of you take off at high speed. The jam is over, but no accident, no police cars, nothing. WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT! A traffic jam with no cause? In the rear-view mirror you see all the poor saps behind you still stuck in the jam. But why? If all those people could just speed up at the same time, the whole traffic jam would evaporate. Why don't they ever do that? What caused the mysterious slowdown in the first place?
