Contracts and Litigation

I read somewhere that a contract is just waiting for litigation. I believe that to be so true with any contract. We should know what's in a contract before signing no matter how anxious we are.

I've spoken before about the important of having EVERY contract reviewed by an Entertainment Attorney. Repeat Entertainment Attorney, any attorney will not do although there are some attorneys that can assist with entertainment contracts, but the best safety for anyone in the industry is get an Entertainment Attorney. It's their specialty, and they have seen it all.

The message of seeking counsel can go on every day and ever minute because the critical understanding and signing of a contract is a spirit breaker as well as a bank breaker as well as a career breaker and eventually can lead to litigation. Do not sign any paper that has terms and conditions without the help of a professional.
